Meet & Greet
Bayou Boeuf Elementary will hold it's 2019-2020 Meet & Greet on Tuesday, August 6th from 8:30am - 9:30am for grades 1st through 5th ONLY. This is a chance for you and your child to meet his/her teacher(s). Students may bring any school supplies on this day so they do not have to carry them on the first day of school (8/8/19). Hope to see you on August 6th!!!

On April 7, 1948, the Lafourche Parish School Board entered into a lease with the Bowie Lumber Company for the purpose of establishing a school on the present site of Bayou Boeuf Elementary. The lease was for 99 years and will expire in April of 2047.
Bayou Boeuf Elementary School seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through rigorous instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. BBES promotes a safe, orderly, caring and supportive environment. Each student's self -esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved in student achievement.
